Game Review (written by Weeman43302) Added on: 03/29/2007
Jet Moto is a great game. It was the first racing game I had ever played. It uses Jet Ski look-alike hovercrafts to race on both land and water. Other games, such as Wave Race for the N64, have done this as well but I think this game is the best of its kind.
The graphics are good for the time of the game. The water looks kind of bad but for the most part the world looks good. The gameplay is good and you can pick up and play this game whenever you feel fit.

The first time I downloaded it, I won my first race. And that was the first time I had played it in almost 10 years. There are 20 racers in each race and your can race in many different terrains. There are four different teams; Mt. Dew, Axiom, K2, and Butterfinger. All the players have different attributes and are good in their own ways. Some are heavy and have high top speeds and others are light and zip around the course like crazy. There are a total of ten tracks in the whole game.
The game also has power-ups like most racing games and shortcuts to help along the way. There is one different feature in this game. It is the grapple.

It helps you turn corners easier but it is only around certain ones. It could help you or hurt you. I have crashed many times going around a corner and into the other wall.
The re playability is very high. You have to beat the first season mode on intermediate to unlock more tracks. You start with three originally. The season on intermediate unlocks four more tracks and on the professional difficulty, you will unlock three more tracks. Defeat all the tracks and you can unlock a special track in which you can perform tricks for points.
The controls are pretty simple to understand. Some of the buttons are far away but if you want you can change them in the options menu. The crashes in this game are somewhat weak. You fall off the bike and crash into the water in the same position you were on the bike. But what can you expect from an early game like this.
Overall the game is good and takes a while to beat. Somewhat difficult at times, you are required to play the tracks multiple times before you can beat them. Great game and I would recommend this to anyone that loves racing games. I would give it an 8/10.
