Game Review (written by Gt11) Added on: 03/30/2007
You can either just load this game up and start boxing an exhibition match straight away. No problems with this at all, it’s a nice little feature. But the career mode is where the big fun begins. Create your own boxer. Choose a head, skin color, glove and shorts color and then distribute his attributes wisely. You need to decide here whether your man is going to be a boxer, a dodger or a brawler etc. And whether he is going to be all about power, or speed or whether taking a punch is his specialty.

fighting and then see if you can buy some equipment to help develop your attributes. With every win the higher up the world rankings you will go and with that you gain more money and can afford better coaches, a better manager who can get you the bigger fights and also better equipment. Keep fighting and winning and you may just get high enough to get a shot at the champion and the goal of the game of becoming the Undisputed Heavyweight champion of the World.
The graphics for the time were stunning. Whether it is talking to your manager or the in fights movements these were the best and slickest graphics I'd ever seen on a PC game. Honestly I play this still to this day and it still looks great.
Personally I still get a kick out of hearing "stop the fight" but really with the graphics being so advanced the sound was not up to the same level. Immortal. I go back to this game every year for a little play whilst I've got a minute in work and I will no doubt continue to do so for many years to come.
This game gets a 9.5/10 from me. If the sound was even a little better is would have been a 10 no doubt.
