I am a big tennis fan so I loved playing this game years ago when it first came out. I think when you consider how old the game yes the graphics are pretty good and the gameplay is quite slick. I found it hard to put this game down years ago and I'm sure it contributed to poor exam results! Takes a while to get used to the speed and controls, but once you do you'll find it hard to put down. The control panel colours at the bottom are a bit drab and could be a bit brighter and more defined, but the game colours are quite striking.
All in all, nice game for the fan of the genre.

World Tennis Championships is a very challenging game. You have four choices of gameplay while playing. Exhibition, Practice, Tournament, and career. If you have never played this game before, I suggest you to do practice mode. this can also be played in Two player mode! At the beginning of a game. you will look down at your ball, bounce it twice, throw it in the air, then HIT it as hard as u can.
The game doesn't look realistic. But it sure does feel like it is. The author of this game wants u to be fused with the player in the game. It is basically trying to make you the person in the game. This is the reason it is in first person. Many people think games like this are boring. But if you try it you would probably like it. This game can even tell you the stats of a player! In Tournament, you are surrounded by a crowd.

World tennis championships I believe is to be an excellent game for tennis fans of all ages! Its great for children especially because it can teach them how a game of tennis actually works but more importantly it will teach children a lesson when it comes to being a good sportsman. I recommend this game to any tennis fanatic no matter what your age is. I rate this game an 8/10.
