Zany golf is a classic in all meanings of the word ... its timeless playability makes it the only simulation golf game you will ever need ... ever!!! I used to play this as a child of 5 on my fathers amiga 500+ and it makes me feel like a child again to play it ... and to this day I still have not completed the game. The last level for me is the best one and is still very hard, which is probably why I am still incredibly attached to this game.

The levels progress in hardness as most games do ... but the theme changes every level and goes from bouncing hamburgers to big old computers and ant
hills, one of the levels is called magic carpets, once the ball is on a "Magic Carpet" you can use the mouse to force the ball in the direction of the mouse, another level includes fans where you have to rotate the mouse in order to make them move and blow the ball along.
The controls are as simple as they could ever be and just as they are simple they are perfect for the game, the rebounding off walls is exceptional for a game of its time and the graphics also are exceptional. Electronic arts made a blinder in my eyes and I don’t think I will ever see another game with such playability, a fantastic multi-player game and one of the best one the amiga and any format as far as I am concerned.
I would compare this, in music terms, as white snake is to The Darkness, as is Zany Golf to tiger woods...vamped up does not make anything better...it makes it more to the times of that era...but Zany Golf is timeless...soooo I guess it wins hands down against everything.
In conclusion this is the all time best golf game ever made and always will be, and I’ve played tiger woods on the xbox 360, so if you haven’t got it, get it, if you haven’t heard of it, get a life. Keep games alive people because if you don’t, no-one will and then we will all have to deal with more games like The hobbit...games that no-one really worked hard on to make, they just kicked the rights off someone else’s good idea and twisted it to make a rubbish game and a quick buck...the times they are-a-changin'.
