This game is like all the others in its genre for the day. Character movement could be better and the controls could have been more users friendly. It appears that when some targets are hit the system does not register the action, and could possibly cheat you out of your victory.
Graphics are fair for the time, but there is nothing spectacular here. The cover of the box gave you the impression that you will be in for a spectacular time with none stop action.
The game starts to become quite repetitive after a while and the wire frame figures start to hurt the eye after while.
The premise is pretty simple. Blow stuff up and score points at the same time. Scoring point in simple. You can earn 1000 for a regular tank, 3000 for the super tank, 5000 for the flying saucer, depending on the target, and you ear an extra tank for scoring 15000 point. Targets range from super tanks to guided missiles fired by the enemy all with the same graphical imagination as the rest of the game. Ground obstacle can be an advantage or disadvantage depending on what you’re trying to accomplish. The obstacles can act as a shield from incoming attacks, so jumping
from one terrain obstacle to another is a good way to approach the enemy. The obstacles are also indestructible, so if your enemy is using the same tactics as you are, you will find it difficult to blow them away.
Overall, nice game to spend few hours.
