Dr. Drago's mad cup chase was produced by blue byte software inc. in 1997. Dr Drago's mad cup chase is my favorite traditional strategy game of all time. The game itself is a strategy / board game very similar to classic board games such as monopoly or hotel only much larger. The game-play is played with dice and the goal of the game is to reach several cities of the world first and collect as much money as you can on your way there.

The game itself is a strategy / board game very similar to classic board games such as monopoly or hotel only much larger. The game-play is played with dice and the goal of the game is to reach several cities of the world first and collect as much money as you can on your way there. The game includes special cards which you can use to gain advantage over your rivals (humans or AI).
Special cards can be anything from extra funds to extra movement or even sabotaging your enemies with things like putting sugar
in their tanks or nails on the road in order to puncture their tires. The biggest challenge of the game is fighting against Dr. Drago himself when he tries to slow you down with unpredictable ways. Players can purchase land, buildings, businesses and even landmarks from the many countries they will pass through during the game in order to gain more revenue and be the richest on the board. When the game is played by many players they can even form alliances with each other in order to destroy other players whether they are controlled by another player or AI.
The game can take up to 8 players and is as much fun played on your own as it is when played with friends. The graphics are very good for a traditional pc strategy / board game produced in the nineties. The characters are nice and the music cool and very fitting for a board game. It is a shame that games like this are not being produced anymore despite the fact that many people still enjoy playing them as much as they did back then. I have enjoyed playing this game alone as much as i did playing it with friends and I believe it is one of the most addictive games ever create on the pc. I think that games like this should find their way on to the shelves of every pc game stores because board games are classic.
Imagine if one day games like monopoly or hotel stop being produced ... it would be a sad day for all of us! I would suggest to anyone who didn't give it a try yet to find it and give it a shot and I’m sure that you will all love it as much as I did. Dr Drago Madcap Chase Rules!
