This is the greatest game! The concept behind the game is completely unique combining a 'command and conquer' style strategy game with a gene splicing mutation game in which you can create your own creatures. The idea behind the game is to repopulate planets after a massive war between humans and three different alien races. You command a small crack team of five scientists, with different skills and different classes being: engineers, geneticists, botanists and rangers. To do this game allows you to build up a base and research plants and animals.
In the early stages of the game researching the animals allows you to create those animals only but as the game progresses it allows you to mutate the animals, combining them together to create animals with the skills of both the combined creatures. The animals involved in the game are mules, crabs, frogs, birds and dinosaurs, with each having different traits and different special moves, which can be earned in the game. The mules can acquire a kick as a special move, the crabs can deflect shots, frogs can spit shots, birds can dive attack and dinosaurs can learn fire-breath. The beauty of the game is that you can combine the strength of a dinosaur and the flying ability
of a bird or the defence of a crab and the speed of a frog to create some truly terrifying animals. The creatures can also be used to help your main team create buildings or carry plants and dead animals to be recycled into the main building material in the game.
As well as creating creatures you must sustain them and feed them, also you must create plant life to repopulate the planet. To do this one of your team must research a plant, collect seeds and then grow and nurture the plant, which can then be eaten by your creatures. The aliens ruling overall in a big brother kind of way can either praise or punish you, giving your creatures special powers or increasing the strength ability of your main team of workers or they can attack you if you’re killing the planet and doing evil deeds.
All in all this is a great game. The graphics and music are also great. I'd highly recommend this game, it has a unique concept, which is really fun to explore. I do hope you love this game as much as I do. In my opinion this is a classic must-have game. Download it!
