This is a summary of the game
This is the introduction to Baby. It is a great strategy game me and my family loved it OK, so there are a lot of strategy games out there but this one is different enough to give it a second glance. The way the game plays is completely different from your normal strategy game such as Command and Conquer where you continuously play all the way through the game. Incubation is a turn-based strategy game, you can move your men a small number of spaces around the levels and then the computer does the same. This can make the game very hard so easily frustrated people should steer clear of this game. The story
isn’t very original but it works; a big group of aliens have infested a nearby planet and it’s up to you to save the day. You control a small team of soldiers who must infiltrate a city on the infested planet.
The storyline takes a lot of twists and turns; one of which is; you have to go against your superior’s orders and take it upon yourself to save the city. You get a wide array of weapons like flamethrowers and plasma guns; my personal favourite is the mine thrower.
The graphics aren’t amazing but are good enough for you to over look as it is an old game. Incubation has quite a few cut scenes that help to tell the story; they are all made from the in-game graphics. I lost count of how many missions there were but I know it was a lot. Like most games the further you get the more difficult it becomes and when this game turns up the heat it doesn’t let off for a second.
At the beginning of each mission the leader of your squad reads out the briefing and objectives and I should warn you that this game has some strong language that I wouldn’t recommended for children under thirteen or so. Overall I think this game should have been way more popular than it was when it came out all those years ago. In my opinion this game has what it takes to be a classic. It has also overcome the biggest and hardest test of all: the test of time. I still play this game every couple of days even with all the new games I own. If you’re lucky and find a copy in a bargain bin somewhere don’t hesitate buy it and add this little gem to your games collection.
