I remember when I was little and the movie Jurassic Park was brought to the movies. Playing this game, I felt as if I were right back in the movie theatre. As a child, nothing is more terrifying than the realistic roars and screams of the ferocious reptiles destroying their preys. The T-Rex, being one of my favorites as a child, was the most thrilling aspect of the game for sure. Now I remember why I was so scared growing up all these years.
The raptor was a dinosaur that really caught my attention when it was first introduced. The way they communicate with one another to stalk their prey is one of the most fascinating traits of any dinosaur that walked this earth. I sometimes wonder who would win a war in a battle between these two man-eating monsters but I don’t think the answer could ever be answered accurately. The raptor hunts in a totally different manner than the T-Rex, whereas the raptor uses a group of hunting technique styles starting with the number the packs hunt in. They have been known to cover all angles against their prey leaving the subject helpless with nowhere to go. As for the T-Rex it seems
to use its power and obvious height to take care of its usual helpless victims. In a fight, one on one I imagine the Raptor will immediately admit defeat to the towering giant it is facing, but due to the probability that other raptors are in the area they may be able to defeat the not so gentle giant. Ultimately this game created wonderful luxurious moments of my childhood that I was able to capture again, experience the amazing graphics of Jurassic War. I think I will be forever grateful to those who created it, simply for me being able to see what it was like to imagine the amazing creatures that walked this earth so many years before I did. I will never in my life be able to play a video game like this again simply because of the initial feeling I was able to experience when first finding this game. With all the new systems coming out these days there are not many video games created that can capture such life like movement all on the computer. I will dream of this game for a long time and all the creatures that roamed the earth for such a long time. Jurrasic War was amazing.
