Game Review (written by Walkerfrancis) Added on: 10/07/2006
This game is built using the build engine (same technology as Duke), the game-play is a little difficult to begin with and the graphics, music and game-play are a little tired by today’s standards so the one player version takes some patience, this aspect of the game should however be ignored entirely as there is one huge redeeming feature:
Anyone who has a small home network or can get away with playing games in work should give this a try. Don't waste time messing about with the multi player levels there is one clear winner Dang Street GM, I have played a lot of FPS games in death-match mode and this is one of the best thought out, well designed levels I have come across in any game.
The basic layout of this level provides plenty of places to hide and the provision of mines gives the user the ability to wall them selves in and take potshots at their opponents. The basic layout consists of buildings enclosing a T shaped yard which means that when you want to move from building to building you risk sniper attack. Also the m15 is a very useful weapon in the open since there in no UP / DOWN shooting capability, it doesn't matter what height your opponent is at it will always score a frag. When hiding in some of the buildings it is useful to place a mine on a door thereby triggering it when the door opens. The mines can be blown

up using the rocket launcher.
Anyone who enjoys death-match games built on the build engine will enjoy this especially if you are a bit of a geek and enjoy fiddling around with mods in which case this particular level provides the perfect base to incorporate some of the other features in the game, such as the helicopter, which isn't included in this particular level, but does provide an added element of fun, however as far I'm concerned it is better to leave it as it is, the game designers have come pretty close to perfection on this, this was proven over about six months of solid game-play by myself and a couple of work colleagues, So Kudos to the guys who put all the effort into this, and don't even bother with the rest of the game, don't even thing about playing in capture the flag mode, it's a waste of time.
