The Perfect General 2 is a strategy game that was released in 1994. The game is as intense and enjoyable as the first game. In fact this remains one of the most enjoyable war strategy games I’ve played. It’s so good, that you will be spending many hours, even days playing it.
The highlight of the game would have to be the variety of scenarios available to players. Like I said, it is a fun game that you’ll be playing for many, many hours.
You can choose to play a single scenario or go on to play a full campaign. Both modes can take many hours to complete.
Another great feature of the game is the graphics. The game features many details including realistic sound effects that make the game a truly exciting strategy game. The game is amazingly detailed, giving you a completely enjoyable experience. There is also a very well made clip at the start of the game.
The game has a hex map option that you can turn on. It is not readily shown when you enter the game unless you have it turned on. You can choose tanks, airplanes, mines, and other weapons and equipments to succeed in the given scenario.
You need to keep a good combination of weapons and equipments to do well in a scenario. You can not just choose to have a single tool of war as there will be situations that will require the others.
Because this is a strategy game, you must work on exactly that- a good strategy. You must have good hardware as well as a sound strategy on how to advance your forces and keep a good defense system. The truth is, the first time I played this game, the computer kept beating me because it took me quite a while to figure out the best combination of weaponry for a certain scenario is. It will probably take you several scenarios to figure out the best combination of tools. It will also take a couple of risks on your part to successfully finish a scenario. But after you get the hang of it, you’ll enjoy beating the AI over and over.
