Game Review (written by Wsmith88) Added on: 11/16/2006
When I first played mah jong, I was twelve years old. The game was addicting to say the least. You have to match up tiles with different letters, numbers, or symbols on them within a certain amount of time. The tiles are laid out in many different ways, but the patterns are interesting. It's kind of a wind down type game, but it is very enjoyable. The graphics are ok as far as graphics of tiles can be. It's just a mellow, yet fun game :-)
Instructions for the game:
One: You click the first tile that you can see the match of and then both tiles will disappear within about one second.

disappear within about another second. This continues until you get down to the bottom, however, you need to do your best to be careful because in some situations, you can get stuck once you get down near the bottom because tiles that may be a match, could be one on top of the other so you need to pay attention to the tiles that come across the screen when the game first begins.
That is another hint that you might want to try your best to remember. When the game first begins, all of the tiles will fly across the screen and you will be able to see where every tile is being placed on the board/screen. While you might think that this can drastically help you beat the game, odds are, it won't help you that much. The tiles fly across the screen at such a fast pace that you'll be lucky to glimpse what is in the bottom row, let alone the entire tile layout.
There's another thing that might help you out when playing Mah Jong though. There should be a help button on the bottom of the screen and when I am under a time crunch while playing mah jong, I am sure to always hit that button. It tells you where a match is because sometimes you just can't find them on your own for whatever reason. In some cases like I mentioned above, you might get down to the bottom and not have any matches available, even after clicking the "hint" button. In this case, if you still have more than 30 seconds left, you can hit reshuffle and the tiles will all go to random tile spaces in the formation. However, it takes 30 seconds off of your time and you can only use the reshuffle button three times during the game. ENJOY!
