I have played several games since computers games came into play. But, man, I waited for graphics to come out. After a long wait I started to play games again, I ran into some good games like Warcraft, Worms, Lemmings, and Rise and Rule of Ancient Empires appeared on my list of game searching. Rise and Rule of Ancient Empires is just like playing civilization, you start out with a settler and through time you build your glory of conquest. The map is generated randomly or it’s already set.

As time passes you can build new structures and new units. The game also offers some tutorials and help boxes to help out those new players to the game.
The graphics are similar to civilization
but probably not as professional. The graphics are simple but are at least pleasant to the eye. The gameplay is a bit slow but still has its benefits because this game is rather addicting if you’re into Real Time Strategy. The music is nice and good for battling because it sets the right mood.
Rise and Rule of Ancient Empires is rather time consuming and requires a lot of time to actually conquer a map but regardless of that downfall, the game in my book automatically earns two thumbs up. Another downfall is the loading of the game, for me it took a long time to upload the game as well as the graphics. The game is just great, it’s a must play game because Rise and Rule of Ancient Empires is a real time strategy game that teaches you that skill isn't just what is needed to play a game but luck and the intelligence. One false move can determine whether your empire will fall or grow by luck. In battle if a group of soldiers is badly placed on the map during battle it can quickly change the outcome of the battle and you could easily fall. I played this game many times over and I will tell you that when a battle is lost it’s like losing the greatest part of you, your glory of being the greatest general of all time.
Give the game a chance and see for yourself that this game may seem simple when building your empire of glory but when you stand in battle with the enemy one on one time is endless, this I promise you.
