can’t beat the habits. I met a guy once that had a court but no jails or prisons, he didn’t get too far in the game I might add. The budget can be tricky, I mean you really should know what the right amount of informants is to put out, cause if you have too little, you won’t the crime happens until it happens, not a good thing people. If you have Too many, you may know what’s going on in your city all the time, but it's the chuck of change that comes with too many informants is the problem, cause you certainly don’t want to force the city to raise taxes.
I most certainly can not believe this game was forgotten about. It reminds me of The "Police Quest Series" in so many ways. I am sure if someone was to give it a shot at the big time, they could really make this game soar with Graphics, even if they changed it a bit and added an option to where you could select a time period of when you wanted to become Chief of Police and what city to run in, I mean come on, would you of wanted be chief back in Chicago during the 30's? or even during the riots of the late 50's early 60's. I Most certainly would not of wanted to have been back in San Franciso during the Riots that went on because of the Vietnam War with all them hippies out raged and all, heck. I am sure if they sat down with some real in life former policemen, I am sure they could give the details of what the street patrols were like back in the day. I have played a lot of games and this is one well worth trying out if you’re in to this style of game. I tried it out and I LOVE IT, they need to follow up with this.
