Game Review (written by Interdeck65) Added on: 05/03/2007
The game starts with a marble notebook on the right and a Top Secet folder on the left. The top secret folder is the actual game and the notebook is a way for you to test alternative strains of species. To exit click above the folder and notebook in the middle and you will get an option to exit.
The game starts as you a scientist having a conversation with a general on the way to an aircraft carrier. You find out that a fellow colleague of yours working on the same genetic experimentation project you were part of and has supposedly gone mad.
She seems to be creating genetically bred critters to destroy and take over. They are located on numerous islands throughout the game. Your job is to create your own super critters to take hers out. The opening sequence is not fancy at all. Like a slideshow of pictures with text at the bottom.
The next stop is your lab where a fellow geneticist gives you the breakdown on what you need to do and how your equipment works. After that a new screen opens revealing your mad doctor console the computer known as a DigiLife AL-2000. It allows you to control food amount, cage size, breeding stats and much more. Kinda figure it out as you go. The console has your creature movement in the upper right hand

side along with cage size and placement.
The creatures you breed are called Theroids. There are three types of Theroids: Zips(Red), which are fast; Slugs(blue), which slime around displaying their endurance and stamina; and Hulks(green), which are very strong. On the right is a tube like item that has options for off, 25%, full and MAX. From what I've seen this controls the breeding speed. Under your creature monitor there is a button for viewing specific critter stats and one to change the layout of the cages. The lower right has your food slide control.
As you get updates from your assistant more options become available such as inducing radiation, making enhanced breeds in hope of mating in better characteristics and a slew of stats and charts for you to see your progress.
This game is definitely confusing with all the controls, stats and no manual. It is very fun though.
