War Inc is a real-time strategy game set in the future as private security forces have evolved into powerful mercenary armies under corporate control. You take the role of both Commander-in-Chief and CEO of a company called granite whose business is hiring out mercenaries.
The business elements leave you in charge of investments, research, designing and building units in order to create a grand strategy. On the financial screen you generally buy and sell stocks in order to drive your profits up and attempt to take over other companies.

The business elements leave you in charge of investments, research, designing and building units in order to create a grand strategy. On the financial screen you generally buy and sell stocks in order to drive your profits up and attempt to take over other companies. This money can then be used to hire researchers and research gives you access to better classes of hulls, weapons, armour and engines.
War Inc is enable you to put your own vehicles together, equipping them with the
firepower, horsepower, technology and other features for a completely custom set of fighting units. If your budget gets too tight to construct the awesome tank-flattening machines of destruction that you need, then re-invest some of your earnings in the stock market. However, you could get fired from the company if the value of your mercenary organisation's stock falls too low.
As freelance missions become available, you can choose which ones to take, with victory yielding profits of $5 million upwards. Of course, your operating expenses are deducted from this, so you not only have to fight the battle, but fight it cheaply. A planner displays your objectives so this helps to determine your strategy of building your army. Once your forces are built in your base you can then divide them up among different squads and send them out to attack primary, secondary and tertiary targets in real-time. Your mercenaries come in three varieties and you decide the number and type of men to be recruited on each mission.
When a strike force reaches a target zone the game drops into a real-time combat mode and the mission is conducted on a landscape viewed from overhead. And here is the game's downfall. Everything leading up to the combat is quite interesting but the rest of the game is simply a tacky version of Command & Conquer. The battles seem to end in predictably the same way - with a large strike force winning the day over any tactical finesse.
The graphics, music and the maps are great. This is my favourite game! It’s good for all ages. I highly recommend it!
