Bannermania is not really a game, but a cute program. I remember using it in school and we thought it was the greatest! You get to design a banner using different fonts and graphics and then print it out on that great perforated paper with the stupid edges that everyone remembers. You could use Bannermania to make banners for pretty much anything you wanted.
You can make a Happy Birthday sign for a friend or loved one, a Go Team sign to show off your school spirit, a sign to warn people of dreaded wet paint, a banner with the names of all of the planets, a banner for the grand opening of a new business, a banner for your child's school project, a banner depicting as many decimal places of Pi that you wish to type in and print out, a banner for a classroom, a banner that says get well soon, or good luck with the new job.
Basically there are absolutely no limitations to what your Bannermania banner can say or do for you. According to other users, this classic DOS program will apparently run in windows XP, which is good if you are planning on downloading and using it, because if it did not work with windows XP most of you would probably not be able to use this wonderful banner making program on your computer so you would have to either downgrade you processor or purchase an older model computer dedicated specifically to your DOS programs that you love so much.
I do not know how well Bannermania works with modern printers. I'm sure that if you are a computer wiz you can probably figure out some
way to make it work for you. I don't see a reason why Bannermania would not work with a modern printer, unless all the print options are built into the program itself, then I do not know where you would go to print your super awesome Bannermania Banner. I really hope it works out for you, because if it did not then you would not get to experience the same memorable Bannermania experience that I and so many others have lived to experience.
Anyway, if you are the type of person who is looking for a classic Windows Basic DOS program to fufill all of your banner and sign making needs, wants, wishes and dreams, then Bannermania is absolutely without a doubt the best classic pc program for you to download!
