Mo’Slo Version 1.32 is not a video game at all, but a very useful application that is recommended as a slow down utility when people are running very old games that are designed for slower machines. Modern machines will often distort and jump the game play of older games, or sometimes even make the games completely unplayable. Mo’Slo is one of the most recommended solutions for this problem, and is suggested as a fix by hundreds of companies for thousands of programs.
Mo’Slo Version 1.
32 is part of the Mo’Slo Basic upgrade system. Once licensed, the original Mo’Slo Basic could be upgraded indefinitely with various patches that added to its capabilities. Mo’Slo also was available in Mo’Slo Deluxe and Mo’Slo 4BIZ.
Mo’Slo Basic has been around since 1990. A photographer posted a desperate plea on his BBS which read as follows: “Help! I just replaced my 4.77 MHz IBM PC with a 25 MHz ‘386 computer and my favorite pinball game is now unplayable!” A man now simply known as Doctor David responded to the cry for help and Mo’Slo was born as a slow down utility. Since then, it has been suggested for use by numerous developers for a wide array of programs ranging from tax preparation software to the world’s favorite
video games.
For example, Symantec has recommended Mo’Slo as a solution to installing and running Q & A for MS- DOS. Blizzard Entertainment thinks it is a viable solution for fixing the overly speedy map scrolling in the World Of Warcraft II. Interplay has suggested installing Mo’Slo to improve games such as The Forgotten Realms Archives and the Ultimate RPG Archives, both great compilations. Even LucasArts looks to Mo’Slo for fixing runtime problems in Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe and Their Finest Hour-The Battle of Britain. The Ultima compilations by Origin can benefit from Mo’Slo, as can Micropose’s Stunt Driver and Falcon 3.0. Sierra has too many games to mention.
Mo’Slo 1.32, this specific version, added mouse and HDD monitoring to prevent start up problems with some applications. Each subsequent upgrade adds a little something more to Mo’Slo’s usefulness.
It should be evident the Mo’Slo is a useful application, and given the speed of modern machines, attempting to run programs made for much, much, much slower computers…this is a must have for many users. Fortunately, it is available here. If you are having problems running an old classic on your modern marvel of a machine, try Mo’Slo and see if it will solve your problems.
